Makings Of A Silicon Valley Novel

Take one entity,
Give him a job title, lets just say Information Analyst
Architect or Engineer
Lets just call him a programmer

~

From history we select
Careers involving instant success,
Of children making millions,
Off initial Public Offerings
Houses.
Women.

Lost in a search for supreme well being.

~

Conclusions of past decisions
Distorted by visions of future earnings

~

Rewinding memories of moments,
The lonely nights spent with ones and zeroes,
Fingers locked from moving up and down.
The hum from the hard drive

A vivid horizon just beyond the screen

Skin.
Crisp ocean air.
Warm breath.

Portals to the wrong page.

~

I digress what is a novel for?

~

Use this as your template:
study hard
Or this:
focus on what is important
Or simply:
Learn to forgive yourself
parents and children,
friends and lovers,
But who will forgive Him

Familiarize him with the Valley,
tales of instant riches abound
the hills of gold encompassing,
enticed by green instead of the gold.

Inevitable jealousy
The rules should never be in ones favor.

Fast cars from far off lands
The mansion on the hill
They all have consequences.

~

Don’t leave it at this
Make him feel guilt

Allow him to see what’s right

~

Push him over the edge

~

End your story

Maybe have him sitting in jail
Or maybe just sitting
in a psychiatrist office in complete hysterics,
and he has been give another chance.
An image of his mother,
A better happier place
at the dinner table with Mom and Dad
it was beginning again.

Or just have him save the world.
