[OOC: I'll tidy this up and improve it one day, but not right now.]

Body and Appearance

1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy? 5 foot, nine inches. His build makes him look fairly squat. He's quite large with muscle mass, thick and heavyset but not fat, more toned and strong looking. Thick thighs and upper arms, broad shouldered.
2. How old is he? Thirty-four.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch? Carries himself well when he needs to. When on the job Eames walks with a confidence he's perfected, straight backed. But he's also the kind of person who looks relaxed in himself so much that it sometimes looks lazy? When uncomfortable he rounds himself off, makes his appearance more hard and dangerous, adapts to his build by highlighting his physical strength.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? Healthy-enough.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Fluid. As part of his work as a forger, Eames can make his body move in any way to give off specific images. Generally he moves easily.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror? Definitely attractive, Eames has a very old-fashioned and charm about him physically. He's not movie-star gorgeous because of his crooked teeth, but he's handsome. His own perception is sometimes a little wonky. He uses his body to get what he wants from people, but doesn't neccessarily believe in his own worth when it comes down to it.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? Tanned with a few hidden scars.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style. Fair, probably light brown hair, sometimes his hair looks a little thin, but he generally styles it so he can sweep it back and have it looking short.
9. What color are his eyes? Blue-green but they can appear darker in certain lights.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? His mouth. And muscle mass.
11. What are his chief tension centers? Shoulders, neck, and knuckles.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? His wardrobe is a point of contention. It's generally loud and garish, brightly coloured with random patterns, but it's all tailored and fitting to his body, and it always looks like it had been expensive at one point but has fallen into disrepair. Shabby chic, elegant in its own right.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them? Yes. But he seems more comfortable without.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences? It depends on what's required of him on the job. In his free time he'll alternate between the slacks and the fitted shirts and jeans and a t-shirt depending on what mood fits him.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando? Boxers.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Deep, hoarse when he's been smoking too much, smooth when he's tired.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate? Easily and soft, but the way he speaks implies a certain amount of gravitas.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? English as fuck, but kind of an old fashioned dialect. Sometimes it sounds rather polished, like he's treading a line between keeping that particular quirk, but not wanting it to get too sharp.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency? Fluent in French, German, Italian and Swahili. He knows a little Russian, a little Greek, knows how to swear in Polish and Latvian.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations? Yes, Eames is a con-man with a specific knowledge of accents and languages so if the situation arised that he would need to pretend, he'd be good at it. When he's drunk or upset his accent gets rougher, less refined, kind of Cockney.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words? Depends on the context. Eames knows what to say and when to say it but when the conversation turns personal he can get rather halting.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? Eloquent until proven guilty.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart? Eames gives off the vibe of being street-smart instead of card-carrying actual inteligence. He works in dangerous circles and would rather suggest he's a bit dim, play down his own strengths so that no one would suspect he can get away with half of the things he does. Despite not being properly educated, he's well read on a vast number of subjects.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate? Good for both, but when the crux of the situation demands it, Eames is very much act now, deliberate later.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? He acts on what he can see. He's very much into reading people and deciding the situation from the tells he can spot which is why he's naturally inclined to gambling. He's inquisitive and so he pries for details like he's trying to take the situation apart and figure out what makes it tick.
4. What kind of education has the character had? Ran away from school when he was fifteen, so he lacks any evidential qualifications.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about? Art, literature, the human psychology. He'd rather like to have a more accurate historical knowledge.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert? Extrovert in nature. Eames is flashy and he does nothing to hide that.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? On the surface he's very open and warm but it's generally a cover-up. He is tempermental, can fall into dark patches but he tends to move when these things happen so he can out run his own feelings. He's a very driven person when it's linked to something he wants, but relies heavily on luck.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? If you come off as a threat he'll treat you like one, but he has a relaxed atmosphere about himself that suggests he doesn't mind people flitting around the edge of his hemisphere.
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react? Act.
10. Which is his default: fight or flight? Flight. On the first dream level he tries to opt for sitting it out. Eames is a traveller, if the situation gets too hot, he moves. But that doesn't mean he wouldn't defend something to the death.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? Innuendo, gallows humour, self-depreciating jokes.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them? Suffers from nightmares, sometimes falls into the blackest of moods. As a teen he developed suicidal tendancies that he's vaguely managed to squash.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person? Losing his mother, running away from home, joining the arm, being sent to war, learning about the dreamshare, meeting the Cobbs.
14. What does he fear? The inability to change. Being left behind, or not what someone wants.
15. What are his hopes or aspirations? To remain the best at what he does.
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him? Personality wise, Eames is very closed off, his facade is easy going and genial but if you pry too far you find him all locked corners. He doesn't want people to know about his childhood, the physical abuse from his father, the bullying of other boys from his schooldays, the brief dabbling into drugs. Deep down, he has a sharp need for physical affection and care that he smothers up with his devil may care attitude and cocksure behaviour.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents. He loved his mother dearly when she was alive, but his relationship with his father ended years after that. Eames faked his own death so that he couldn't reach out and ensnare him again.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? No siblings.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand? No.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them? His godfather - the long term partner of his now dead uncle. David is the only person to know that he's still alive, and the one person who still looks out for Eames' interests.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? When he was a child, Eames had a best friend called Jonathan, the son of his nanny. They met when she would bring him to look after Eames and became inseperable.
6. Does he have other close friends? He was friends with a woman named Scarlett, a neighbour in his London block of flats. Now he's close friends with Yusuf because they have a slow, easy relationship that tends to not breach the confines of personal life. He wouldn't consider either Ariadne or Arthur as specifically friends, because in certain verses they tend to be a lot more than that.
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people? He's good at the vague friendship thing but never makes very many close relationships.
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends? You choose your own family.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once? In a relationship across verses.
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?Yes.
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest? Sebastian Petriach, a Russian boy on an exchange programme, and Arthur.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner? Kindness, cleverness, someone who knows how to work to their own strengths and keep him on his toes
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any? No, he doesn't want to have children. He'd rather not put anyone dependent in harms way.
14. Does he have any rivals or enemies? Yes.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale? Between 4 and 5.
16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him? He loves sex, is a sexual creature, but he doesn't need it to carry out a relationship. A connection mentally would be something he'd rather have, if he had to choose.
17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits? Too many to list here, but turn-offs include vapidness and ignorance. Eames doesn't have any weird bedroom habits. He promises.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type? Virgo - Some aspects I can see in Eames, I guess and Dragon - yes. yes. all the way yes.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life? Neither. He doesn't believe in anything he can't see.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? He's a bit flighty, and in his job, there isn't quite the option for morality. But I do think he'd step in if things were getting too far out of hand.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? Tolerant, he doesn't care, nobody's harming him.
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them? He tries hard not to be that kind of man.

Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? He goes through spells of both having money and not thanks to his gambling affection.
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him? Iiiiiiii. Don't know.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others? He lives in a lot of places across board. I think Eames' home is rather more fluid. It's wherever he is at the time, or in verses, where the person he cares about is. More specifically he'd call the house in Kent his home.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on? Cars! All the cars. And horrifying shirts and art.
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else? Dream criminal, forger. He's the best in the business and he makes no moves to hide that. I don't think he'd ever change that.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time? Painting, working out.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? He likes alcohol, cooks whenever he can.
