OMG. Oh my god this is so perfect! So very, very parfect! I had to sit on my hands because I was flapping them in glee so much :D
I love every single word of this story, and the vignettes are all so beautifully written, I could practically see the scenes play out in my head! I am completely charmed by Arthur's and Eames' characterizations and how they interact with each other. And all the things you included! The chess game and them standing in the cold and the math pun and the amazing that is the whole third vignette and the tattoo, omg the tattoo! I can't tell you how much I love the final one bacause that one just slayed me with its sheer brilliance.
