Summary: Blue Collar AU. Arthur lives in a bad part of town and works a blue collar job to support his family: his younger brother, sister, and father, none of whom live with him. Cobb is his best friend, a failed novelist, raising two kids on his own since his wife killed herself in their trailer bathroom. Ariadne's a waitress, Robert is a bartender, and by leaning on each other, everyone gets by. Love is a dream they've only ever heard of on TV, and nothing they want ever comes their way.
Until Eames comes into the picture and shows Arthur that life isn't about getting by.
