I update more than anyone I know and it's a little embarrasing

I guess I just like writing? Either that or I'm really concieted, which is quite possible. But for right now we'll go with option 'A'.
I'm spending most of my summer working at Multimed in Baldwinsville. Yay, nepitism. Thankfully I'm getting out of here for a couple of weeks in July. I feel a little bit out of place, because everyone seems to be desperatly hanging on to this whole college thing and although I've enjoyed it and am having fun, I kind of just like to graduate already. I'm tired of papers and bullshit group projects and Newhouse and math classes I'll never use, etc. Getting a job, where I actually get PAID would be supercool. Granted, I'm being paid this summer, but it's not quite the same.
Actually, I'm a little intimidated. Multimed doesn't have a PR dept. at all, so I'm going from doing crossword puzzels on bored.com at MSG to planning and implementing and entire PR campaign here. It's a little bit much, but will be good for my "portfolio", whatever the hell that means. Right now I'm working on a literature review about trade shows, which is actually kind of interesting. I'm learning which positions are best at the expo, where to set up your table, which give-aways are most popular/effective, and what each color used in signage means and signals to a consumer. Did you know blue is an appetite supressant? Also, if you're sending out a survey to be completed by mail, green is the color that's most successful at getting responses. People gamble more in rooms that are red, and are more inclined to spend high prices in the presence of purple. Good to know.
