A drabble by Bunny
I thought I would save in Esrielle's journal this drabble by Bunny aka Andra. It will certainly be interesting how things play out.
#9: Esrielle/Mason/Fi ; Checkmate
"Checkmate," Fi said, bored as she watched her Queen obliviate Esrielle's King. "Whassat, like, four in a row?"
She grinned wide, then waved her hand. Loser sets the board -- she'd said that after their first match, then after their second, and by the third she had let it be silently understood. It was; Esrielle diligently set up the board, a look of concentration on her face.
Fi looked to Mason, quite aggravated that he still sat there helping her. She lost. When would he see that she was past his help? It wasn't as if Fi had come to play for her own health.
Still, she felt quite alone on this side of the board, trying to be tough and impress her friend. It was then that she wondered who really lost.
