Banned Books Week

Sep 26, 2009 10:11

Banned Books week starts today. I checked the list of top 10 challenged books of 2008 a few weeks ago, so I could line up the books I haven't read yet. I have already read 6 of them.

I had to get Uncle Bobby's Wedding via ILL; it came yesterday. Since it's a picture book, I should be able to read that today. I got two, Scary Stories and The Kite Runner, on audio. I'm not fond of ghost stories so I don't plan to listen to all the Scary Stories. I may just get the book instead. The last one I haven't read is the YA book Flashcards of My Life. It is downstairs on hold for me.
