Tudors
I put my name on the list for the first season of The Tudors on DVD. Both volumes are in the same catalog entry. Since we have about 4 copies, I had to place copy holds for all the 8 and hope that a volume 1 came in around the same time as a volume 2. Of course, 3 copies of volume 2 came in before a volume 1. I dutifully sent the volume 2 onto the next person waiting. Finally, a volume 1 came in. I took it home yesterday and put in the player. Eldred and I watched maybe half of one episode before deciding we didn't care and turning it off. I know it had a lot of press and hoopla, but it didn't do anything for us. I'm not sure why. I usually enjoy costume dramas. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood. Oh well, maybe the next person on the list will enjoy it.
