(no subject)
When I was taking a nap today, I had the most disturbing dream.
I was looking in a mirror, and I got out a knife and started sawing my head off. It wasn't very difficult, and it only hurt a little. I got it all the way off, then I set it on my desk and looked at it for a while. I kept it off whenever I was at home, but when I went out I had to remember to put it back on so I didn't frighten people. I would just stick it back on, but I couldn't lean over or anything because it would topple off. So eventually I was at home for like 3 days without leaving, so I had my head off the whole time, and it started to really dry out, and the red fleshy part where I'd cut it off was turning brown and green, and when I tried to put it back on, it started stinging really badly. The last thing I remember was thinking to myself, "I hope it isn't infected. This could be really bad. If it's bad infection, I might even die from it."
The dream was so vivid that when I woke up, my hands immediately went to my neck to see if my head was still attached.
Does anyone know what this might mean?
