Last night...

She said...uh...no...The Strokes...eh, not quite...

Last night was Summer Music Mania 2002.

And BOY was it a show.

I got to see some GOOD puppies! action.

They were taping these intros for it...it's going to be on June 20th! Look for me, I might be on TV! I was behind Chris and JC for some of their stuff.

BUT NOT NEAR THEM! WAH!! If I were on the floor, I would have been right next to JC! Man... I mean RIGHT next to him. Touching, talking to him, getting those flirtatious smiles we know and love.

Chris was having fun, I think.

During the down time where they set up shots, I was looking in the big screen on the wall and I saw them clowning around with eachother, laughing, making fun of how hyper we were...and how LOUD we were.

When Jennifer Love-Hewitt...yeah, she was co-hosting too...ICK...was doing her intros and what not for the artists with JC he did this little cookoo sign near his head and laughed and smiled and ruffled his curls. GUH.

I think she asked him if us *NSYNC fans were that bad. *laughs* He loves us though right? He was very nice to people in the crowd...but didn't feel so thrilled to take piccies with them...Chris either. Small smiles. Must be tired...too much partying and gambling (Did I mention it took place at Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino? Beautiful place.) AND JET LAG. They went to London to promote "Gone"...I think it hit the top 5 in the UK, or something.

Lemme say that JA RULE and NELLY were AWESOME. Loved seeing them. They loved us and we loved them.

Vanessa Carlton...man, I wish I was as pretty as she is. She is just...gorgeous. I looked at the screen next to the stage to see how much passion and love she has for her music. She does...very much. I am DEFINITELY getting her record. She's a ballet dancer too. JC got a little twinkle in his eye (real or not, I dunno...) and seemed like he was impressed. So, vocal lessons and piano for me soon? Maybe? *laughs*

Alanis...Wow. I love her. What I hated about it...was that she was the closer, and a lot of people left. HOW RUDE!

I liked Ludacris...a little bit. He did Rollout and stuff...so that was cool.

Didn't really care for Tweet, The Calling and Michelle Branch, although I sang along to "Everywhere"...OR Ashanti.

NO Mary J. I don't know why they even mentioned her when tickets went on sale but...eh.

B2K...lip synched totally. Had head mikes like the pups, but only one guy was really singing. I was only impressed with their dancing and the tumbling pass the lead singer did.

Teenies were abound. One was next to me screaming and making her mother take pictures. AND, she made one of B2K's dancers give her his autograph. Whoever "Little Face" is in the group, she wanted him to get her backstage. It was SO funny.

And another one, apparently a brat who has her mom working the events at the Casino, asked me for the time CONSTANTLY. UGH.

I had to move constantly, because, guess what, I was number 1 on the end of the row. DAMN.

It was loud...it was interesting...when we had to applaud by the cue of the director over the PA...and having the cameras all around and seeing them do visual tricks with candles in front of the camera lenses...for some things...was cool.

Being that I'm in radio, it's cool to see what I've practiced when I learned TV and video techniques.

I am still TIRED.

My sister's graduation is tonight...she gets her Associates in Radiography.

I'm SO proud of her.

That is all. : )

Oh and I took piccies. I don't know if you'll ever see them, but eh.
