Back to dorm life...
Howdy folks! I am back in Minnesota (as most of you know). Life up here has been pretty busy, and I can't write too much even now. I had tour guide training, so that was a lot of busy work, remembering stuff. I started classes today, so I already have homework...BOO!! Oh well, my profs seem cool. I have one class with 9 people in it. Oh boy, and he really likes class discussion. There's no chance of hiding if I wanted to. Oh well. I haven't given an actual tour yet, just a mock one. I know more than I thought that I knew. It should be all good. I start work tonight in downtown Minneapolis, so good food for dinner! My roommate moved in and it's been a lot of fun. She was gone the first weekend, so I had the place to myself.
We went a whole ton of places. We went to REI (an outdoorsy camp store) and I got a mouth guard for my Nalgene. Then we went to an Ethopian restaurant for dinner. Sunday we went to the State Fair and I shared a giant bag of doughnuts with Heidi. I also tried teriayki ostrich. It was ok, but not a repeat buy. We had cheese curds and apples. I also bought Apple Spice Honey. It is amazing, especially on bread. YUM! Then I drank tea with Molly and Cody when we got too cold at the Fair and came back to UST. It's been a lot of fun, and I can't wait for classes tomorrow. Even though I have to get up at 6-6:15 to get to one class on time. I'm definately finding a comfy sofa to sleep on until class starts. YIKES! Then the bus doesn't pick me up again until 10:25. My class ends at 9:40. I might have to walk back so I can get back sooner. Ew....
