Totally singing the song. I love that song. And people mock Micheal Bolton, but he's kinda like the Chuck Norris of the music world. Wouldn't mess with the man, no.

But I find it funny. You hate Sasuke, and yet all you see is Sasuke love. When you love Sasuke, all you see is Sasuke hate.

When you're intrigued by the easily misled little bugger, you see both sides of the wank and know to stay out of it. :D

I still like Sasuke. Part of it might be the hair. Love the hair. Had it since he was a baby. ♥! But I do have to ask, without me excusing his actions, have you even learned what became of the Itachi/Sasuke fight? Because I know I asked before, when you were reading like chapter 500, and you said no.

I know I never got to that in my cliff notes, but did you know the Konoha elders put Itachi up to it? He chose the peace of the village over his own clan, and so wiped every single one of them out - except for Sasuke. I like LOVE what tvtropes says about Sasuke jumping down the slippery slope (along the lines of, "he didn't just jump, but grabbed a sled so he could get down faster,") *; but you've gotta admit, take all the crap Sasuke has been through, and then learn that the guy you just helped kill - your brother - was actually on orders to kill your whole family, and in the first place the only thing keeping you alive is because your brother is still alive scaring the crap out of the Elders (because Itachi threatened to blow the whistle on the whole affair if they hurt Sasuke).

I mean, not excuse his crappy choices in action (the boy is easily misled - now he's Madara's pawn), but if you're Charlie happy-go-lucky after that... I would have to say you're more messed up than REALLY being messed up. Because Sasuke's jumped off the deep end, and really, after all THAT crap, I'm amazed he hasn't bashed his head in and died like that head-splodin-gif. Just the grief. Kishimoto really pulled one over on Itachi and Sasuke, let me tell you that.

But referring back to that *, that, "he didn't just jump, but grabbed a sled so he could get down faster," is right up there with my favorite quotes on like the Niidaime. He invented that jutsu that Orochimaru used to "revive" him and his brother. In particular, what I like is about being sealed inside that floaty creepy thing. I just have to fully quote it, "Yeah... Hashirama [Shodai] is probably smacking him in the back of the head every hour on the hour. With Orochimaru's arms."

I wish he would just go jump off a cliff or something; seriously, he annoys me. The way I see it, he is supposed to be Naruto's exact opposite. So with Naruto being perfect, Sasuke is imperfect. Leaving Naruto with all the "good" personality traits and Sasuke with the "flaws". Sasuke is the opposite of Gary-Stu, since he can't do ANYTHING right and starts out being loved by everyone to being kind of...not as loved by them.

But he does have nice hair.

Sasuke is suppose to be Naruto's exact opposite. He was "created" because Kishimoto was told Naruto should have a rival, and rivals are suppose to be the exact opposite of, well, their rival.

But I don't get it. I usually find people who dislike Sasuke, so I understand what you're saying, but at the same time I don't get it. Is, are people calling Sasuke perfect?

Because he's everything but! That is what I enjoy about the character. Sasuke isn't "perfect"; the boy is mentally abused and severely unhinged. He has been in no way perfect. He has been a broken character/person for a long time.

He is now doing terrible things, and yes, there is a reason, but it's not necessarily an "excuse". Excusing an atrocious crime... even I like bad characters, but I know when to draw the line.

I think he's "perfect" in a different way that Naruto is "perfect". They both have their flaws but they are both so obviously the center of attention that it's annoying. Naruto's attitude is "perfect" right now, Sasuke's attitude is "perfectly" insane right now. Like you said, opposites. I'm not a huge fan of Naruto either, fyi. Naruto started out "broken" and then became whole, Sasuke was much more whole than Naruto in the beginning (before he went and REALLY screwed himself up) and is now broken. -_- It's the same ol, same ol. Outside of that, Sasuke NEEDS to get worse for Naruto to be better.
