Click to viewSoul Eater. I had read the first chapter a long time ago and was turned off completely by the storyline. I had thought it was boring and unoriginal. I tried to give it a second chance not long after that and didn't like it all that much then either. So I forgot about it for a long time, writing it off.
However, for some reason within the last few weeks I decided to try out the anime - I myself don't even know the reason why. I had no idea about the plot and was originally extremely turned off by the series when after being introduced to characters in episode 1; episodes 2 and 3 had entirely different leads. I thought to myself that if the entire series was going to be like that, then it would really suck. After episode 3 though, which appeared to be the end of the introductory episodes, the main characters remained the same. And then the plot developed. Now I love it and consider it to be among my favorite series.
