Alllllmost done. Not quite. They need some sizing at the ankles and insteps, loops put at the back of the ankle to help pull them up, and the anklebone armor patch needs to be a little bigger. They may be ready by next Wednesday.
This shot still doesn't do justice to the color. It's closer than the last set, but still too light. I'm very excited about these.
Here, the shins of the boots show almost the color they actually are. The left boot is almost exactly the color.
And here's a washed-out closeup shot. You can see the differences of the toes, with the shifter patch on the left boot but not the right. I'm enjoying the asymmetry.
