Adventuring with Todd
Last night, Todd was going to a birthday party for his friend Katie and he asked me if I wanted to go. We met up with Todd's friends Drew, Yan, Ola, Mayfield, and Katie at a pub by the USP campus. It was a pretty good time. Another pretty cool thing was I was only drinking Coke and I was the "designated driver" so the bartender didn't charge me for my Coke.
As we were leaving, Yan wanted us to go to Wal-Mart, buy a kite, and go fly it in a field. It was a little after 1, so we decided to go. Went to the Wal-Mart at Franklin Mills which was a lot farther away than I expected. We got the kite and went to the registers. Only 3 registers were open and they were all self-checkout. There weren't a lot of people in front of us, but it ended up taking about an hour before we got to ring up our stuff. While we waited, we were being a little ridiculous (mainly Drew), but it was pretty funny.
Finally, we bought the kite and we decided to fly it were Katie lived in New Hope. Ola and Katie didn't put the kite together on the way, so we ended up waiting about a half hour before doing anything. When we went to go out to fly the kite, it wasn't put together very well, so it didn't really leave the ground. We left New Hope a little before 4. After Todd dropped off Drew, we got back to the dorm at about 5. It kinda sucks because Todd had to wake up at 9 today to hang out with Liz. Overall, it was a really fun night.
P.S. Mayfield drives like an ass.
