I just read a blog in which the author listed his top 25 TV characters of all time. I thought it was a really interesting idea for an entry, so I decided to copy it. We'll see if I can make it to 25. Be advised that most of these are probably my favorite characters right now, I'm sure they'll change next week.

Ok, so did I forget anyone great? Anyone you totally disagree with? If so, leave a comment and convince me. Or, if you think I've chosen someone completely random, ask me why.
Just so you know, these really are in order of preference. Right now, Logan Echolls is my absolute favorite character on TV. The expression on his face at the end of last week's episode? Heartbreaking.
As you can see, The West Wing, Battlestar Galactica, and Grey's Anatomy were the big repeats. Obviously, The West Wing has too many great characters to include, I definitely had to leave some worthy ones out. Every single character on Battlestar Galactica is ridiculously intriguing, the ones included here are just my favorites. And, perhaps surprisingly, I have several favorite characters from Grey's Anatomy. While I might not always think that the storylines on Grey's are good, I always love the characters. I think it's just completely awesome how frakked up Meredith Grey is. How many other shows on TV have a completely screwed up main character? Dr. Burke would've made the list if not for this recent thing w/ his hand; I hate that entire storyline and it's tainted his character in my eyes.
I think, out of my all-time favorite TV shows, only X-Men: The Animated Series (which did not present any of the characters very well but is still a favorite from childhood) and Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (which I love, but I don't love either of the main characters to include them in the list) are not represented.
