earlier i thought of a really witty title for this entry, but i forget it now
so here's how my spring break is going.
yesterday my hamster Teddy died.
i have bronchitis. because of this:
A. i haven't practiced any flute stuff in a week.
B. i haven't started my job search yet.
C. i haven't written my communications paper.
D. i haven't made any of the required entries on TaskStream for stupid EDT.
E. i have played the Sims 2 University for more hours than i thought i could handle at a time.
F. i watched endless hours of Gilmore Girls.
so this is what my life has become... sitting on a couch feeling like my middle name should be mucus instead of marie while all of my friends are in north carolina or they are on their way to north carolina on friday and i'm stuck here in Ohio, jobless and lifeless and hamsterless.
ok, time to be grateful.
i'm grateful that jeremy's test went well and he doesn't have diabetes or cancer. i'm grateful that my hermit crab is still alive. i'm grateful that my mom plays with my crab when i can't and she takes care of it. i'm grateful for this opportunity to spend a lot of time with my family. i'm grateful for jeremy coming over last night and taking care of me. i'm grateful that i got to see my extended family at megan's birthday party on sunday night. i'm grateful for awesome friends like brenda, jackie, janine, and vicki who can sit on their asses and do nothing but watch disney movies on a friday night. i'm grateful for my friend's mommies, like jackie's mommy, who feed me when i'm at their house and i use up all their tissues and then they give me a vitamin and hot cocoa so i feel better. i'm grateful for the chance to get better and not have to worry about missing classes or having loud people in the hall or in the room.
okay, i feel better now. my life is a little less of a toilet.
