"The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures." - Rabindranath Tagore

These last few weeks have been like living someone else's life instead of my own. I'm starting to think the annual lift from the numbness may be permanent this time.

Paintball is frickin' awesome. Why did no one tell me this? I think today compensated well for the fact that I hang around a lot of girls these days; I went and hung out with a bunch of guys for Pat's bachelor party...we shot each other for a couple hours and then hit up a couple of the nicer bars downtown and did shots for a few more (and laughed about who shot who, and where, and how big a bruise it left).

Spore and Force Unleashed come out next week. My graphics card can't handle the first one, so I may look into a cheap upgrade. We'll probably split the PS2 version of the second.

Classes look pretty good so far. Both my Java and network teachers are pretty cool guys, so I know I can go to them if I need help understanding anything (more likely in networking, since that doesn't come naturally to me at all). I can't say the same about my InfoSys teacher, but at least I don't expect to need any help in that class anyway. Alright, truth be told, her voice, personality, and general teaching style combine to such an irritating and grating presence that I want to walk up and punch her in the throat. I will probably refrain from doing this.

And also I got Homam pants off the latest Omega run. I should probably buy some real pants, though...I tore up my only pair of jeans pretty good at paintball. Good times.
