Mistletoe curse

Oh no!
[ Eagle gasped as he stretched up towards the top of the tree trying in vain to reach the peak of the beautifully decorated Christmas tree that was standing in the middle of the apartment living room. A few boxes formerly filled with ornaments were still scattered around the room, evidence that the tree had just been decorated. One of their number also made for a very snuggly resting place for a certain white kitten. Only Pico’s tail could be seen peeking out from one of the boxes half-closed lids. As for the other far more mischievous kitten…? ]
Get down from there!
[ The tree swayed and a pair of impish eyes flashed as Crown looked down at his owner from behind the glittering golden star. ]
I didn’t know you would try to climb that!
[ Action ]
[ It was readily apparent that the kittens needed something they were allowed to climb on so as soon as the mess with Crown and the tree was settled Eagle had made his way into the City to search out a much more suitable toy. Didn’t they make cat trees for situations like this?
It should have been a simple task to pick out one of the pieces of furniture and order it to be delivered as sort of an early Christmas present for the kitties. Of course it didn’t help that there was a mistletoe curse today… or that the clerk had been particularly handsome…
Now he found himself standing in the middle of the square wondering just what had happened. Why had he felt the irresistible urge to kiss that man… ? ]
