The park is so filled with people today, so many new faces… is this another visitor’s day curse? I am afraid it has surprised me this time, the events of the City keeping me otherwise occupied, but if there is anything I can do to make your visit

You are in the City. I know, not the most original name but that is what they call it.

Ys Cordelan. Can you tell me how to go back home? My mom will be worried.

You mother will be… I wonder if she is here too.
If you are just visiting then you should be able to return home in a few days. Until then just think of this as a kind of unannounced vacation.

[interminate]

[ A slight frown flickers over his face, briefly. ]

I don't think I'm allowed to do that.

I am afraid you don’t have much other choice. The way to return to your world, where ever it is, will not open again for a few days.

[But, hey! It’s not all bad! ]

If it helps at all you should return to the moment you disappeared and it will be as if none of this ever happened.

Is that even possible?

It is surprising I’m sure. But, you should be perfectly safe here… until you are able to return home.

[Totally sympathetic. These is a very surprising situation to find oneself in. ]

...what happens if I die here, though?

I have never found it to be dangerous on visitor days. Just stay in well lit areas or in crowds of people and you will be fine.

You might even be able to find a place to stay at the Welcome Center. Euphie usually has it setup for guests when they arrive.

But what about if someone else who came here is a bad person?

Do you know some one like that?

I think they have a tendency to be too confused to try anything suspicious. But, if it would make you feel better you can stay with me until you can leave.

Not really, but...there are bad people everywhere, aren't there?

I guess that'd be fine.

There are people with different goals, whether or not that makes them bad… I suppose that depends on how far they are willing to go to achieve their goals.

[To Eagle most people are good until proven otherwise. He isn‘t gullible, just very tolerant.]
