Considering how some people are outright hostile to these guests, they probably take kindness where they can get it.

Some people don’t like meeting others. One of my roommates has locked himself in the apartment we share. I doubt he will even come out until this is over.

[And he laughs because seeing Lantis so unnerved is STILL funny! ]

I mean did you want to pick up any candy for your guests today?

Well, some of these people are a little hard to deal with. Still I'm surprised he finds them that frightening.

Oh, well perhaps I should in case I run short. I'm out and about anyway.

I think he finds them more… trying… than frightening.
Though I will have to ask him which it is later, just to see the annoyed glare he will give me.

Lantis doesn’t mind my teasing him too much. If he did he could always go back to live with the other people of Cephiro.

He does. We have the black kind which taste truly awful, but for some strange reason I like them anyway. And the red variety that is far more tasty. Geo might even have some of the candy coated kind…

Okay, I'll take some of each if you don't mind. I can give some to the visitors and use the rest of some baking later.
