Hmmmmmmm.....Been over a week since Mattie left - and I am not sure if I will get through the next five. I miss him alot - and even worse have no clue as to what he is doing or not doing out there. This is hard - really hard. Must be what "they" mean when they talk about young ones leave the nest. Not sure I will ever get used to this........
Thanks for your kind words. I do miss him more than I thought I would. Its always hard to watch as your kids grow up and move away - and even harder - watching the FIRST one do it. I keep in contact with Matt daily - sometimes here on line and he usually calls me around 11 each night - but its not the same. He was actually in town today - at Clayton State University - but I couldn't get there to see him. His dad went though - and I think Matt was very happy to see him. We hope to get down to Valdosta this weekend to see him - but there is always something that gets in the way - kids - favors for friends - new puppies and so on and so forth. I am wayyyyyyyyy lucky that Matt is so understanding and that he is doing so well down there.
Thank you Jenna for all your kind words - to me - to my family and especially to Matt. He really is a fine young man and we couldn't be prouder of him. He has made some incredible friends the last year or two - and I am glad that you are one of them. Im sure he would want me to give you a great big hug if I were to see you. Im not sure what you meant about things being the way they were - but I can tell that you are hurting about something - for that I am sorry.
