[... well, this is probably the opposite of good. Pausing to listen for anything telling, like people or cars, and then looking over into the well. So long as the water isn't red, this should be mostly alright.]

[You can't see the water, but the bucket tied to the well's been recently used. It doesn't look red.

There are no sounds but that of the occasional breeze.]

[Just to be on the safe side, though ... she picks up the bucket and drops it down into the well so that she can check the water for certain.]

It isn't Tokyo, and it doesn't look like Camp, unless we moved again ...

[When the water comes back up, it's a bit muddied.]

[Rather bravely sticking her hand in and scooping some up, just to satisfy her curiosity. If it really isn't red, she'll pour it back out into the well.]

[That is definitely some muddy water! But it feels a lot colder than it should for desert well-water.]

Then it isn't Hell.

[Satisfied with that, let's go investigate the blanket! Lifting it up.]

[There is a trapdoor underneath it]

[Weighing the options, for a moment.

Trapdoor, potential bed for Ayakashi. Burrow, monster pool. Underground, water.

... well, may as well go with the devil you know. Replacing the blanket, in case it's meant to stay hidden, and stepping over to the well.]

[The well is still as it was.

But the rug's a little wrinkled now]

[Somehow, the owner will probably forgive it. Looking around for something to toss down so she can judge the distance between ground level and water.]

[There are small rocks near the well]

[Picking up one of the larger ones and leaning over the edge, dropping it and straining to hear.]

[You hear a splash a second or two later]

[Huh.] Alright, then.

[Setting about detaching the rope from the bucket so she can use it as an anchor, in case there are no handholds.]

[the rope is tied tight. If you can cut it, you should be able to make use of it]
