My first time running at Pheno and the sessions are filling up fast...which I'm kinda chuffed about :)
Cause all the cool kids are doing it I'm gonna post character blurbs'ish here...not the first lines of the character sheet cause they're the most important and will spoil the fun if you know too much :)
To describe all of them in one word though: survivors.
Kayla Mirell - Guardian and Mother. A Jedi Knight, General of the Clone Wars and loyal servant of the force for over 30 years.
Bryant Mirell - Defender of the Force and his family. An adamantium wall made of Jedi Knight and Lightsabre, quick to defend his friends and family at all costs.
Zulu - Fighter Ace, alone in the cockpit and life. A lost Jedi Knight, finding his way home.
Garland - Jedi Master, Consular, Judge. Serves the council and every letter of the Jedi Code.
Aike - Apprentice to Garland. Young, old, in-experienced, conflicted...but with a wink all your problems just go away.
And some background info:
State of the Galaxy
This point in the universe is known as “The Dark Times.”
Order 66, the start of the “Great Jedi Purge” was carried out with brutal efficiency. The Jedi temple on Coruscant was destroyed by Darth Vader himself, and nearly all the Jedi on missions with Clones were cut down by their own comrades.
Some Jedi even turned to the Dark Side to save themselves, only to still be killed after serving their usefulness by betraying their friends.
The Emperor has declared his New Order and spread his military might across the galaxy. There is not a single world in the Core which does not feel the Emperor’s grasp.
In the Outer Rim, Imperial patrols scour the spacelanes and small colony worlds looking for the Jedi that might have escaped the Great Purge. Any planet found to be harbouring Jedi is blockaded by the Imperial Fleet, with Stormtroopers and Purge Troopers - hulking black armoured cyborgs which have been infused with the Dark Side by the Emperor and Vader themselves - landing on the surface to hunt down the Jedi, killing anything in their way.
Some planets don’t get the treatment of a Stormtrooper invasion...Orbital Bombardment is sometimes easier, and the only way to be sure.
In the Outer Rim, Jedi hide themselves wherever they can, some even turning away from the Force to stay alive.
The Emperor has done whatever he can to destroy all records of the Jedi, and on the Outer Rim the Republic presence was barely felt. To this generation the Jedi are becoming nothing but myth and legend.
Some small groups of Republic loyalists still keep up the fight against the Empire, but there is no organised resistance, no planets in open Rebellion.
It truly is the Dark Times a long time ago,
in a galaxy far, far away...
