Battlestar
As I lie here once again dying of the plague (this is getting ridiculous BTW) I have been catching up on Battlestar Galactica.
First of all, I have to say farewell. I have seen the final episode and after the tears I can now say goodbye to that gorgeous hunk of metal, that aircraft carrier in space with the soul of a true survivor.
Second, having caught up on the webisodes between episodes 10 and 11 of the new series...I now have an understanding. And without providing spoilers of the last season, that is what BSG has been all about to me; understanding.
People balk at what Cain did to the Pegasus and her crew, and yet after seeing all the scenes from Razor, especially all the cut scenes about her past, I now understand what led her to those decisions. I don't agree with what she did, in fact I would have pulled the trigger myself on her, however I can see it from her side.
Same goes for the other characters in season four. The webisodes "The Face of the Enemy" explain a lot about some characters in season 4.2...as such, before you watch those episodes, stop at episode 11, then watch the websiodes...it'll make much more sense.
