Blah-dee-blah-blah. Happenings and such.

Ah, Monday. How quickly you arrive after such a busy weekend.

"She Loves Me" opened at NCRT this last weekend. It was a pretty good reception for a weekend of benefit performances! VERY nice turnout for the actor's benefit on opening night, and the church group benefit on Friday was a lovely audience. Can't say so much about Saturday's audience for the Kiwanis benefit, though. As far as I'm concerned, they're the worst audience I've ever experienced in my time as a piano accompanist. (You're supposed to CLAP when a song is over, people. That's how we know you're still interested. It's not that hard.) I mean, I realize that a lot of the people there on Saturday night came ONLY because they wanted to donate to their group, not because they wanted to see the show. But still! Show some respect, huh? Sitting there on your asses and counting the minutes until you can go home really puts a damper on our performance; most of you have obviously never been to a theatre before. Seriously, we get almost half of our performing energy from the audience's reactions; if you guys aren't into it, neither are we. (Almost all of us were ready to throw in the towel by intermission.) So thanks a lot. Thanks for three songs without applause, half-assed applause in general during scene changes, and talking during the beginning of Act 2. You guys suck. :D

Also, to that woman who made that remark about Mr. Maraczek during the beginning of Act 2 while the lights were on and the scene was running, SO LOUDLY that I could hear it near the back of the stage: fuck you. Fuck you, fat betch. Fuck you with something hard and sandpapery. <3

*INSERT SIGH OF SUBJECT CHANGING...NESS*

Aside from the opening weekend fiasco, I got some relaxing in, too. I watched Firefly with Hidari on Friday, and then on Saturday went to the beach with her and Migi! Yay! :D That's one of the perks of living where I do: the good weather tends to stick around until around late October/mid-November. There's some whole scientific explanation for why it happens that I learned in my geography class, but I won't go into it. (Something about the sun's heat absored by the ocean during the summer being retained and taking more time to cool off as the seasons change, so the weather stays nicer longer on the coast than in places inland.) ANYWAY. We had a fun time just hanging out and partaking in our shares of sodas, beef jerky, frozen Capri Suns, and Craisins. <3 Oh, and we drew pictures in the sand! Lotsa nerdy stuff, like Stargates, Daleks, and Gundam pilots. (G-pilots mostly on my end, though. XD) Gah, if only we had brought a camera that day. Oh well. There's always next time.

My geography class starts in half an hour. ...Gah, that class is going downhill. DX I'm bored out of my freaking mind in it. (At least I have work to do in my other classes. Seriously. I have no pity for you, teacher man.)

OFF I GO. TO... SOMEWHERE. <3

(Also, ignore my momentary song of choice. I'm not in a bad mood, I just thinks it's funny. :3)
