So, I've been studying HTML and CSS for the past 2 weeks or so. I decided to implement the CSS I've learned here on my LJ (they wouldn't let me mess with the HTML...or I couldn't figure out how to. Anybody know?)
So...I found a picture that I liked (the sunflowers) and used adobe's "kuler" application to match a color palette to it. Then I used those colors and made my own stylesheet for my page.
I'm not done yet - there's a lot of tweaking I need to do (especially on the couple of parts that don't match yet!) but I'm tired and am going to call it a night. I'm really proud of myself, though - I feel like I've really learned a lot in the past two weeks.
Hooray for brain power!
