Hooray Obama and MEH for aunts
So I had all of these plans to go see my friends in MD tonight...hang out with my favorite D/s couple at their house, along with my Beloved (and her girlfriend, too, I think.) However it was election night, which means my aunt J went all nuts on me about how I was supposed to watch the results with her.
I love politics. I love them a lot. And I love my aunt. So I canceled my plans and stayed home. And her thanks? She falls asleep before the polls are all closed. Yup. I watched Obama take Ohio to the accompaniment of my aunts' snores. So I went next door and watched with the neighbors, who were appropriately awake and celebratory. Then, when I came home, my aunt J had the nerve to bitch about how I hadn't done enough housework today. Right...like I didn't spend half the day taking care of both my aunts who were all jet lagged and not feeling well, and the other half running important errands, like grocery shopping and going to the bank and...oh: VOTING.
The moral of the story? Next time J wants to hang out and I already have plans, I won't cancel them for her.
