Another bleak night. We're all home after a long day -- festive birthday celebration with catwithbell for me and Joe, and a visit with grandma for Sarah. I'm disappointed about a number of things -- different projects that haven't turned out the way I expected them to or hoped they would -- and generally weary. The state of the world worries and saddens me. It's good to come back together at the end of the day.
I can't tell if I'd be better off drawing inward and hibernating a bit, or reaching out to friends for support and comfort and connection. Right now I'm having a midnight snack, doing a little meditation, fiddling with my banjo a bit, and heading to bed.
