Summary: No matter how often he checks, Jon Snow's reflection is always the same.
When he looks at his reflection, he sees nothing different. The same long face, the same gray eyes, the same dark hair. There are the scars now from where the blades entered his body, but those thin red lines are easily hidden and easily explained away for a man of the Night’s Watch.
But it doesn’t matter how many times Jon Snow looks at himself, he still expects something different this time when he looks. That this time, he’ll find that Melisandre’s sorcery has revealed itself, exposed him for the monster that he is. Because he died, and he will never forget those long minutes of looking at his dead body through Ghost’s eyes before the Red Woman appeared and revived him.
No matter what the mirror shows, he knows that there is something wrong with him because normal men don’t return from the dead as easily as they wake up after a night of sleep. There is something wrong, some horrible secret lurking inside of him and no matter what the mirror shows to him, Jon Snow will always know that there is a monster somewhere deep inside of him.
