This week
Well this week was ok I guess. I didn’t get my heart’s desire or anything, but I still have to call the Seattle Art museum. They never returned my call on Monday. On Wednesday I got to work with Jay *giggles like a 13 year old* He’s sort of moved over to music from café. Dan S. also closed with me which was cool since I usually close by myself. So wed. was great. LOL I’m the only female in the music dept. So they’re all like “my boys.” At time I want to ring their necks though…I mean….PUT THE IN-STORE CDS BACK IN THE RIGHT CASES! Boys!
I’m seriously bored right now. All I do at work (LRHSD) is file! But I’m almost to the end of the pile and I need to make it stretch until the end of the month. So basically I sit at my computer all day. Most of the time I’m job searching. I’ve made it my goal to apply to at least one job a day. If I do that to the end of the month that’s at least 20 places I’ve applied to. 1 out of 20 has to AT LEAST give me an interview! I still need to do my writing sample for grad school. I plan on starting that this weekend.
Yesterday I got my Autumn exchange gift from Taya! I was going to write her an email but my internet at home was down so I’ll do it this afternoon. But omg it’s such a great gift! I love Cadburys!!! And she sent me like 4 huge bars! Plus this really cute green change purse that I now use as my wallet! It’s so purdy. She also made me these kick ass cds with Aussie music! I’ve loved almost every song on there. She included this song that they play in the movie “10 things I hate about you” but isn’t on the soundtrack. I could never figure out who it was by…and now I know! Wooohooo! Great giftie Taya!
