Care

I am super jealous most everyone I know gets to go on a vacation due to the Labor Day weekend, while others will be tailgating (poor souls it is storming right now) and enjoying the time off.  I on the other hand, will be working on my backyard laboring to get my house looking more pleasant before the neighbors get rowdy.  Also on the agenda is reading hundreds upon hundreds of text pages because my professors think students of my ilk are dedicated to there studies and will spend what precious time they have toward there school work.

I am taking a break and have come to the conclusion that I will take a vacation, not now but some time in the perceivable future.  I like planning ahead and I have determined I will be taking two mini vacations.  I have just purchased tickets to the Washington D.C. area.  I will be spending a Friday afternoon, Sept. 26, in Washington, D.C. enjoying our nation's capitol.  If anyone is in town and/or wants to hang out they should contact me.  For the weekend I will be commuting to the Baltimore area, where I will spend the majority of my time roaming the Baltimore Convention Center during Comic-Con.

Another destination I plan on attending, though I have not made a reservation yet, is the Arlington Convention Center for Wizard World Texas.  I have never gone to a Wizard World so this will be a first.  Seeing as how my usual shelter mate made the decision to move from Dallas to Chase, Alaska, I have not determined how or where I will be staying.  If someone does not mind me staying at there place from Nov. 9-10, a Friday and Saturday night, they should contact me because that would be super.  If not, I will just spring the extra money and stay within walking distance of the convention center.

If you have not noticed by the locations, yes I am a dork, but at least when I go to the east coast I will get the chance to stay at my Mother's place and since I have not seen her in a year, we can have some much needed catching up time.  Also going down to the Dallas-Fort Worth area is a pretty simple notion but I have not made a weekend of it in quite some time so that will be sweet.
