When I list all the things I have done today, it does not seem too much was accomplished. I started out waking early so I would get a fresh start on the day. First I went to the post office to mail a package. I found some irony in this because the said item is used primarily for carrying things and the carried is being carried someplace else.
I spent a large sum of money on getting tag information for a car that was left in my care. Because of laziness, I incurred all the late fees one can in transferring titles from Texas to Oklahoma and that made me sad with all the lost money. After that I went to the bank and deposited a check and some cash. I will spend the evening paying all my bills, all of them except my gas which has the tendency to lag behind all the rest and has to be done at earliest at the beginning of the month.
A good chunk of my afternoon was spent watching
The Dark Knight. Also I decided to spend some money on a new external hard drive and some wires for TV related items in my living room. Sad to say, my 19 inch TV seems likely on its last leg. This is a bad thing because I can only replace it with the spare 9 inch from the kitchen. I will probably drop by my father's house and liberate the TV he is not using from when my mother moved.
I get to forgo working on my yard as well. The people from the trash pickup decided that after three weeks they would throw away the branches that I had set aside on my front yard.
I probably could have spent some time outside working off the junk I ate. With some cash in hand I devoured some sausage burritos from McDonald's. After that I wanted more tortillas so I went with the cheap Cheesy Double Beef Burritos from Taco Bell. Finger food that is not good for you, which is the story of my life.
