Though what has been done could not have been accomplished without such support as you have, it is you that we should be thanking. You took the first steps, and where they have brought us is quite remarkable. Where they are taking us now, can only be the greatest of places.

We are in your debt.

I think that the publicity was more a matter of right-time-right-place; in some respects what I've said has been said before, it just didn't take off because the environment wasn't quite primed for it. But thank you for your kind words. =)

Come one, come all! Post your comments and anything else that will help ID you. While you are on-line, better check those "help wanted" ads for telemarketers, because when we are done with you, that's the only job you will be able to get!

You know, if a company was stupid enough to fire someone for just being disgruntled, instead of at least figuring out what was causing the disgruntlement and evaluating such, a developer (or anyone else for that matter) shouldn't be working for such a company. Besides, as far as games go, it's pretty easy (and beneficial) to just start your own with a little venture capital and a decent publishing deal. If I was fired today from a job as a game developer, I'd do just that. It's not like EA has any power to stop me with their "quality" games or pompous blacklist.

Electronic Arts supports a healthy and competitive work environment. This type of name-calling and false accusations do nothing but erode the EA employee fabric. For the vast majority of EA employees, working at EA is a privilege, and they don’t support this pot stirring. As usual, the name callers and troublemakers are the minority, and will be weeded out.

xD

I don't really know why, but when I read that, I started imagining some cultist idiot babbling through eyes waxed over with shiny ignorance. Next you're going to spout about how EA makes great games or something. In all my years as a gamer, I've only bought three EA titles, and even those were really done by studios that EA just acquired, like Maxis.

It seems some posters are fluffing EA's image. To you I say work in the programming or support industries here in the U.S. where the cost of living is high and the pay is low. Where outsourcing is rampant and corporations lay down as bed partners with these 3rd world whores sucking off of another American technology. The problem is the corporations and our so called honest government turning their cheek while this computerised slavery continues. It's not just the gaming industry, it's the 'INDUSTRY' as a whole. These corp/terrorists which I like to call them should have to answer to class action law suits by employees abused by their 3rd world treatment. Hint for all of you not so politically savvy, this is why Bush want's to cap law suits, especially class action lawsuits because he knows this is happening or will come to fruition!! We as computer pros are supposed to see patterns quicker than the average bear. I know I see a pattern here, and it's a big satanic money grubbing pattern where we as U.S. citizens are the ( ... )

I see this blog has turned into a big butt-kiss site just like GrokLaw, like ea_spouse is one step removed from Jesus. Jesus. And just like GrokLaw, ea_spouse sees fit to remove any actual discussion that does not quite agree with her party line. Great.

I echo EA Spouse's response: what the hell are you talking about?

To the contrary, idiot, EA Spouse hasn't removed any contradictory discussion.

It is important for all to note that EA is aware of the identity of ea_spouse and her significant other. We are also aware that a primary objective of ea_spouse is to instigate a class action and profit from that. So, before you "jump on the bandwagon", consider if you want to be a part of a deception with a sole purpose of profit. Keep in mind that if you choose to be a part of that deception, you will go down when the courts punish ea_spouse for her fraud.
