(no subject)
i am in need of something today. it is not more alcohol. recent research has also revealed that it not food from KFC either. blech. it always SEEMS like it will taste so good...
i pulled a disappearance on my friend Chad last night. one minute i was there and then i was gone. i don't even know why i left so abruptly. i don't even remember leaving, actually, nor do i have any idea how i got home. oh, wait. yes i do. it was after 5 am and i took the metro. Caz and I also had a fight of sorts, something to do with politics, i think. i have learned a few things in the 16 or so months she and have been 'together' and one of the more prominent, ostensibly universal truths I've stumbled upon is that it is never, under any circumstance, wise to discuss either politics or religion with a person from Northern Ireland. we take it for granted in the States that most people have an opinion about politics and want to share and or debate it. in NI it's just something that you don't do, unless you want to get your teeth kicked in. thankfully she is not one to kick teeth and is patient enough to wait for me to come around.
my friend max has instituted a two-three drink maximum rule for himself and seems to be quite well off for it. of course, he smokes a lot of pot, but...
but i am shaky and twitchy and feeling brittle and bruised.
