Even though I skipped a class...

...I still feel very productive after today. I went to my first class, then came back and took care of some business. I went to my first MSU baseball game of the year with Lauren and saw the Spartans dominate Siena Heights as expected, 13-1. Duffy didn't play and I was kinda pissed about that. Then I walked to Grand River, went to the bank, Beyond the Wall, Flat Black & Circular (to get Talib tickets), then went to the financial aid office in the student services building to get jerked around more by loan officers. Whatever. I get back, go to dinner, and throw the frisbee around with Trevor. Well, just throwin the frisbee became going on a run too. And, it felt damn good. Ive been running alot more lately, but tonight was the first time I really wasn't tired after I did it. And considering we went farther than I usually do, it felt extra gratifying to know that I am getting back in shape a little bit. After my econ homework was done, I was pretty much in chill mode for the rest of the night.
I really think I made a great friend tonight. I was talking online to Jenny from 2N about some stuff, and it kind of escalated to a long talk about anything and everything we could think of. We were talking for well over a half hour and it was really nice to vent, listen, & just talk with someone "new." I mean I've known her for a couple months now, but tonight we truely became friends. I could tell that was the case when I went down to her room just to say goodnight in person and it became another hour and a half talk. There's alot more to that girl than I had originally thought. At first I thought she was just a very nice girl who was in love with her boyfriend. And while she is very nice and very much married, there's alot more to her. Long story short, I'm really glad we hung out tonight & I hope we can continue to.
