Pigskin disappointment, Labor Day Feast, & the best visitor imaginable...

OK, I knew it was coming. I couldn't just be pissed about Saturday, I had to let it out. If you think sports aren't that big of a deal or that a bunch of guys hitting each other in pads isn't that important...stop reading right now. Also, stop being my friend.

The way they played Saturday, State not only doesn't deserve to be on national TV 8 times this year as they are, they don't deserve me as a fan, diehard and true through everything. We lost. To Rutgers. Yeah, RUTGERS. The state university of New Jersey. THAT Rutgers. I don't give a shit if they are an up and coming program, big time programs don't lose to Rutgers. Period. Miami was in the same conference as Rutgers until this year, and they beat them 9 million times in a row, give or take a couple. THATS a big time program. Miami, Florida, Oklahoma, etc... shit even the team i hate more than anything on this earth goes into certain games with a confidence that no matter what, they're gonna win. You have to have that swagger in order to win someimes ,and we don't have it. John L was making excuses the week before the game. Dont have a starter, God it was too cool in East Lansing this week so we didnt have tougher playing conditions, Rutgers is better than people think. BULLSHIT. You beat RUTGERS JOHN L, end of discussion. You beat them with Jeff Smoker, Damon Dowdell, or fuckin Oprah at quarterback. Thats what separates us from the big boys. Now, I have not lost hope for the whole season, and I never will. We WILL beat Central, and we WILL beat them by a whole lot. Guaranteed. We're gonna bounce back, we're gonna get 6-7 wins, and we're gonna play in a shitty bowl game. Whoopty fuckin doo. The slogan for the 2004 football team is "All we ask is all you've got." Well, they are modifying it now, to "Spartan Football: Plenty of seats available for the Motor City Bowl."

ALL This being said, BEAT CENTRAL

Labor Day was great. Easy day at work, as always. Came home and we had a massive cookout feast. Baked salmon, BBQ chicken on the grill, mac and cheese, green and baked beans. STELLAR. These boys over here know how to cook, thats for damn sure. Finished it all of with a piece of birthday cake. Happy Birthday Jessica, go to Canada immediately.

Get me through this short week, cause a certain someone is coming Thursday, and thats all I'm gonna be thinkin about all week. Well that, and our party Friday night. Cmon over to the village and party with us. 241 Cedar Street APT 11.
