Update
A fun action packed week!
Sat 14 Jan
I visited my Mum to check out what had happened with the robbery. I actually had a fun time hanging out with her! I went down to the local shops and ended up running into my Grandma, Dad, Mum again and my sister and we shopped a bit and enjoyed the a/c.
sirkahless ended up not being able to come out for coffee so I went to visit him at his place. I met his housemate Sean and his brother (by the looks of him) Eric and we talked cars. They took MyCar for a burl and taught me how to fix a few things :) I then talked research and a range of other good stuff with Steve. Wonderful visit!
I spent the night chilling with M.

I briefly swung by isi13 and dreeft’s place and they lent me an iPod FM transmitter and it works a treat in the car! I drove on to see my cousin to collect the new music software I ordered.
M and I went to see Good Night, And Good Luck at the movies. It’s a 50s story on CBS TV journos who had the guts to tell US citizens on air that the communist threat that Senator McCarthy was preaching about, doesn’t give the government the right to invade the privacy of their citizens. Sure it’s a point that we agree with and it was presented faithfully enough in 50s style but there were a few unnecessary plot points and moves a little slowly (then again, M says that we watch a lot of The Daily Show so that mindset has already been drummed into us) so 6.5/10 from me. However, important point made!!

After Music work, M and I went to Blockbuster and got out Ghost World about just out of high school misfits (mmm… Scarlett Johannson and Thora Birch) who meet a weird character, played by Steve Buscemi, say no more. Reminds me of me at that age :P It’s quirky like Kevin Smith’s movies but less involved characters - 7/10 for a light entertaining bit of fluff.

was not my day… The piano mover explained why my piano can’t go up the stairs, I spilled tomato seeds on my new work top so that it looked like a lactation problem and the new studio set up did not go well :P Call centre in the arvo - was too busy and distracted by quizzes to post an update.
It improved when I went to visit Jacki for a yarn and then M and I went over to eviltomato’s place and met their new kitten and played Mario Party 6.
Wed 18 Jan
Didn’t get to Music work ‘til the arvo so I was on a roll with things at home (like washing clothes, hair and stuff).
After work I met crazycatgirl for sushi dinner (rather packed for a Wed night!) and gelati dessert and then she came over for a bit.
Thu 19 Jan
Music work then yoga with Jacki after work. My useless hair managed to drip sweat in my eye! (owie!) but otherwise good.
Fri 20 Jan
Call centre has been fun today. We won a morning tea AND a colleague brought morning tea in. I couldn’t even eat my lunch!
Off work soon to meet my sister for some shopping :) More action over the w’end!
We've been watching Everybody Hates Chris, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Naruto, Desperate Housewives, Scrubs, Emily's Reasons Why Not (new Heather Graham sitcom about dating - Bridget Jones on speed, too mindless!) and The Boondocks.
