Collecting Alexanders
Got the nude Cissette doll very cheap, and think she will be the right size to use for my doll cake (wrapped securely in plastic wrap where she'll be covered by the cake)! Am going to make it very ruffly fancy.. later: nope, going to be too small. may end up usingone of my Gene dolls instead.
Think I may use this Gardenia Gala Ballgown Cissy as my inspiration for the cake!
Also have recently purchased a couple vintage Madame Alexander dolls, one a blond little Cissette and one elegant full size. Suppose this means I'm a real collector now. I have vintage and modern Cissy's, both classic size and Cissette, and a Portrait and Portrette doll. Little bit of what Madame Alexander has to offer.
