she wondered where i was.
it was powerful enough to wake me from my sleep. but no, i was not sleeping. i was more in a state of stasis. recoiled into myself.
i rose and looked around, not sure from where the thought had emanated. then i realized i did not have an answer for her pondering. i gazed at my alien surroundings, no shape or thing identifiable to me. there was no path leading to where i am now puzzling. i want to scream into the ether from where the thought had come my exact location and my precise purpose for being there... but i could not. i sat back down and hung my head as before.
briefly.
i raise my head. i stand. i dust myself and start walking.
i walk in this unknown place towards an unknown destination for an unknown purpose.
i know nothing of the answer... but it is enough that she wonders.
