I can't wait to give this
recipe a try! And I might not have to wait too long because it comes with healthy recipe alternatives!!!
Speaking of healthy.... I have been having a tough time with getting this pudge to budge. I have been tracking points but easily go over my points. Grrr..... This past week I started to do Core and bam! It is beginning to come off! Yea! Slowly....so painfully slowly. Especially when I try to put on my clothes. So if I can stick this through the month of February I may be quite pleased when we go to Spain in March.
This past weekend I made up 2 Core soups to eat throughout the week. It has worked out rather well. I love not having to track absolutely everything and just paying attention to what food I put in my mouth. It is truly the healthier way to eat.
Spain....I need to come up with a good plan for watching the pudge while in Spain. I am seriously going to indulge in one of those syrupy hot chocolate things I keep reading about. Fortunately Spain is all about tapas, which means small meals. I will just have to limit my tapas and not eat the kid's as well. Or I sometimes don't even order food for myself (maybe an apple) and just eat the kids leftovers. Works. I have a few exercise bands I can pack to bring with me and I of course can utilize Crossfit training while I am there.
Last night I didn't want to go to the gym so I compromised by doing some of my Tivo'ed exercise programs. Bodies in Motion with Gilad anyone? I did 2 of his programs. I rewarded myself by doing Wii Fit and then tennis on Wii Sport for the next hour and 20 minutes. I probably got in all of my steps just from playing tennis. :-) I'll have to wear my pedometer and heart rate monitor the next Wii Fit night I have. I also did the little Wii Sport age thing. Boy, am I an old, uncoordinated clunker according to that thing. But sports were never my forte.....
