I sent a question regarding a coffee date to an old friend. I was not sure how it would be regarded, worrying that perhaps she no longer wished to be friends and that's why she never called or wrote. So the next day she sent me a reply that said she'd see me Monday and wondered what had happened to me and how I was.

I know for a fact that I was the last person to call/email in the relationship before the unfolding. But from her words I gathered that there's a chance she wasn't aware of her complete ignoral of me.
