Fic, Stuff, and Junk
I'm still writing "The Losers" fanfiction like a mad woman, but I've decided to spare my non-Losers-addicted friends list and I'm just posting it over at losers_fic. So if you want to read it, you can hop over there. This is easily the most prolific I've been in a while. It's nice.
At work, one week from today, I get to go back to my old unit, and the Idiot Whore is coming back, too. It will be nice to be part of a team again (853 for life!), and to work with people I like. And to have work. I can't wait to be busy again!
The weather in Portland is miserable this spring. I don't mind the rain. Heck, I like it. But this is ridiculous! I want it to be warm! I have so many new warm-weather dresses, and I can't wear any of them!
I've been sewing lately, too. I've made skirts before, but I was inspired by my Brides of March gown, and I tried my hand at dressmaking. My first effort turned out pretty good, considering I didn't use a pattern. I need to fix the hem, but then I'll be able to wear it out of the house! Very exciting.
We sent in our final payment for our Cincinnati tournament tickets. Now we just need to find someone to buy the women's half again. And book a flight, and agree on a hotel, and rent a car. We're practically ready to go!
