By Wednesday next week, I will be at my new desk at work, and it can't come too soon. One of the problems with training my replacement is that I don't want to over-bash my supervisor, but I need her to understand that said supervisor is NOT competent. I may just have to leave it for her to figure out. I have a bit of "survivor's guilt" about leaving, but it will pass.
I'm finally going to see "Twilight" tomorrow, because it's playing at Kennedy School, and I love Kennedy School. The friend I'm going with has never been there. I can't wait to show her around. (Yes, I realize that means nothing to most, if not all, of my LJ friends because none of them live in Portland. Just trust me:
Kennedy School = made of awesome.)
In other Portland-ness, "Leverage" is coming here. They will be filming the next season in Oregon, centered in Portland. What am I going to do if I happen to run into Christian Kane on the street? I might have to demand to have his babies, and I don't want to have babies! Even his babies! But...but...it's Christian Kane! And his voice! *wrings hands*
How annoying would it be to my friends list is I occasionally post in Spanish? Because I'm studying Spanish, and I find it helps me to write in Spanish when I'm trying to learn new things. I'm a long way from stories in Spanish, but I might post a few things here and there.
Evgeny's in a final! A final I'm going to get to watch live because I finally have the Tennis Channel! Yay! I know he's playing the Fish, but how could I not root for my Candy Boy?
Dear Evgeny,
If you win, I can get you candy. Lots and lots of candy.
