Slash Is Contagious, I'm Telling You!
My HLP and I have always differed where slash is concerned. She's always found it "a little weird" and has a firm "don't ask don't tell" stance where my writing of said slashy goodness is concerned.
But we've been watching "Supernatural" together a lot lately, because I only just got the season two DVDs and she's playing catch-up. Last Sunday we had a bit of a marathon, and it was somewhere in the middle of the haunted hotel episode, during the scene where Sam gets really drunk, when she suddenly turned to me and said, "Do they ever just kiss?" I had a good laugh and told her that they do not, unfortunately. She said, "That's too bad." I agreed.
For the rest of the day, every time they exchanged a significant look, she'd say, "See, right there, that's the perfect time for a kiss!"
Slowly but surely, I'm bringing her over to the dark side!
