We have tickets to the Nike Clash of the Champions in Eugene! That is the good news.
The bad news is that I fucked up. I couldn't get through on the phone, so I tried to buy them online. On the first try I selected the most expensive range of tickets, because the HLP and I agreed we'd spend more for good seats. I came up with decent seats in a corner, similar to where we sit in Cincy. I decided to back out of those and see what the tickets in the next price level down would be...and it said they were sold out. I went back to the most expensive, and those were sold out too. Then I went through all the higher price levels, and they were all sold out. In the end, I just asked for the "best available", and found seats in the upper level. Not exactly where we wanted to sit, but by then, I was freaking out, and I bought them.
After a few deep breaths, I will say that at least we got aisle seats, and the section we're in is still in the corner, where we like to be. And we saved quite a bit of money.
I'm bummed about not gettting the good seats, though. In hindsight, I could easily have kept that order open and just searched again in a new window. There was some very not-work-appropriate language.
*sighs*
If you want to help cheer me up, post me some Rafa and Roger pics in my comments. Seeing their happy smiling faces (or half-naked bodies) will go a long way to reminding me that at least I'll get to see them in person in a month, even if it's from a distance.
