Quick Poll - Is it rude to tell someone they're being rude?
The context is this: I have a coworker who interupts me everytime I answer the phone. We have a mandated elaborate way we're supposed to answer the phone, "Good morning, Multnomah County District Attorney's Office, this is EG speaking, how can I help you?" I don't even say all that. I just say, "District Attorney's Office, this is EG speaking." and yet, every damn time, she interupts me before I can even get the "District" out.
I think we can all agree...Interupting = rude.
But...telling someone they're rude = rude?
I may just tell her anyway.
Because it's rude.
