On Sons of Anarchy - Season 3, Episode 13

I love not knowing how something is going to end, and I had no idea. About fifteen minutes before the end of season finale, I started muttering, “Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit…”

Beward, spoilers to follow...
I’m glad we finally got to find out what was in Chuck’s boxes. He was so eager to show someone that I knew they had to contain something good. It’s only fitting that they contained messed-up counterfeit bills, messed-up as he himself is. And Tig offering Chuck the use of his hand as reward made me laugh.

Unser is a total badass. It’s easy to forget. He certainly doesn’t look the part of badass, but as soon as he switched from his service gun to his revolver, I knew shit was about to go down. He never even fired a shot, and was still badass.

Stahl was a monster, and she deserved to die. If not for what she did to Opie and his family, or for trying to force Chibs to rat by threatening his wife and daughter, or for setting Gemma up after killing Edmund Hayes, or for telling the rest of Samcro about Jax’s deal despite knowing that they will almost certainly kill him, then without a doubt she qualifies as Complete Monster for shooting her lover in cold blood and comforting her while she died, just so she could shift the blame of Edmund’s death to her. Opie had given her a second chance already, so it was right that he pulled the trigger.

On that subject, it was good to see that Chibs finally got his revenge on Jimmy O as well. When Jimmy told Chibs to take care of “his girls”, I really wanted Chibs to tell him that they weren’t his girls. But killing him was enough. I’ll take it.

That last scene, in the back of the truck, with Jax and the guys all smiling at each other, that was awesome. Made of awesome, even.

I’m guessing that next season will deal in part with the fallout from what Jax finds in his father’s letters. My guess is they won’t be smiling at each other for long.
