: past, present, and upcoming greatness :
PAST:
last weekend was pretty frikkin lovely.
my dad turns 65 tomorrow so my small but loving fam had a get together for my faja's bday. kelly obrien, the one true friend i have left from holbrook (and for life) takes the cake for being most awesome because she gave up a day of work at tar-jay to join us in the celebracion.
we baked a cake and went to bomb italiano restaurant, where we laughed our asse off over the caraf of red wine that we drank (oh wait, that was only me, my mom, and my dad drinking it). i guess kelly, robin, anja, and dave were just drunk offa the ambiance. they played this awesome italiano mix with the oldies yet goodies of "when the moon hits your eeeeeye", "mambo italiano", and of course, "the godfather". and other known diddies i cant recall right now. heh, imagine p diddy came out with an all italiano album? it's not far fetched...
another awesome point in the weekend was my new green EnV. it's sexy n sleek n i like it just fine. the camera is 2 megapixels which really was the reason i wanted it, and the oh so cool flip keyboard. god, im such a slave to the modern technology. sell out is more like it, if you know me at all, you know i hate modern technology.
PRESENT:
my sister, robin, her girlfriend, leah, and my niece, anja drove me back down to BK on sunday, which saved me a nice amount of dough. and also was a lot of fun. i get along really well with my 16 year old niece, anja. i love her. my sister can be a ball of stress but im really glad leah is with her, i think she's keeping her relaxed. so they're here until tomorrow and so far it hasn't been a hassle at all. i thought it might be, since it was 3 of them and i live with 2 other people, but as far as i know glick n sarah aren't pissed about it. we all work so its not like they're really in the way. it would have been nice to take off a day of work and spend it with them, but i really cant afford to take off days just to sight see.
anu is the best girlfriend. she drove over all the way from flushing sunday night to meet my fam and play some wii. and then last nite she came out to veggie paradise for dinner and we had a fun train ride home. my sister helped out this really cute lady on the overcrowded train by offering her arm to hold on to. i love awesome people. like my sister and that cute little lady. but above all, anu.
UPCOMING:

this is going to be delicious. im taking a half day on friday, getting outta work at 12:30, hopefully goin to flushing to eat bangin, and then takin a ride with my sweetheart to good ol new paltz! and it get even better if you can believe it: ill finally see lara since i haven't in like 3 months! she got back from tour 2 weeks ago and we are going to WINE N DINE saturday morning at the bistro. i cant frikkin wait.
beautiful weather, please, please stay. i know its april showers, but dayum, im really liking this out of sort sunny week.
