I have a grown up job now!
So I got the call this morning (well yesterday but I missed it) and I got the job working for the Department of Veteran's Affairs!
I'm really excited because it's in Detroit and it is definitely a real job kind of in my field.
YAY!
It's a government job so I start out on the government pay scale as a GS-7 which means I will be making about $38,000 a year PLUS benefits. How cool is that? I start May 29th right after the holiday so I have a few weeks to recoup and then I start life as a working girl!
I have a job before I graduate that was my goal I'm so happy!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm going to dance around all day!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. I finished my last semester off with straight 4.0s not enough for Summa Cum Laude but Magna is fine with me!
